Overview

AnyChart Stock Tooltips is a very powerful way to show information on a chart; they can show HTML formatted text and series icons and displayed in various ways. There are two major types of tooltips: Grouped and Separated.

Separated Tooltip

Each series can show its own tooltip with information about that series, like on the sample image below. This is what we call a Separated Tooltip. This type of tooltip should be used when you have one or a few series on a chart and want to show user detailed information about the given series.

Grouped Tooltip

Another way of showing tooltips is to show one tooltip for all the series shown on the chart instead of showing several tooltips; this mode is called Grouped Tooltip, which may look like the one shown on the illustration below. By many aspects, its configuration is similar to separated tooltips, but there is a number of important differences between them.
