Sample Description

How to use this sample?

Click "Make the line green", "Make the line blue" or "Make the line dashed" to change line appearance. "Reset line appearance" reverses all changes made.

How it works

This sample shows how to update annotation appearance.

Upon any button click updateAnnotation() method is invoked with different parameters, this method can update all properties of annotation, except "id". Learn more about updateAnnotation() method in Working with annotations article.

AnyChartStock JavaScript API

This sample uses the following methods, properties and events from AnyChartStock JavaScript API:

Item Type Description
setXMLFile Method Sets chart XML configuration file path.
updateAnnotation Method Updates the settings of the annotation with the given id.
write Method Adds the chart to HTML DOM as a child of the specified container.
onChartDraw Event This event is dispatched when the AnyChart Stock is drawn.
