Sample Description

How to use this sample?

Use checkboxes to the right of the chart to show/hide different series.

How it works

This sample uses chart object model to change chart setting as described in Updating Chart using Object Model article.

Most of visible chart entities, such as series, event markers, indicators and other, have enabled attribute, which defines whether this element is shown or not. You can change the value of this attribute using objectModel access and commit changes using applySettingsChanges method - this leads to show/hide effect. In this sample we change enabled attribute of series entity and we obtain link to the series using getSeriesById method.

Also, you can set enabled to false in initial JSON or XML configuration and change in the run time.
