Sample Description

How to use this sample?

Use checkboxes to the right of the chart to show/hide chart areas (subcharts), optionally check/uncheck Adjust Height to keep chart height constant or make it dependent on the number of the areas shown.

How it works

This sample uses chart object model to change chart setting as described in Updating Chart using Object Model article.

Most of visible chart entities, such as series, event markers, indicators and other, have enabled attribute, which defines whether this element is shown or not. You can change the value of this attribute using objectModel access and commit changes using applySettingsChanges method - this leads to show/hide effect. In this sample we change enabled attribute of chart entity and we obtain link to the charts using getChartById method.

Also, you can set enabled to false in initial JSON or XML configuration and change in the run time.

Note: you can show/hide the whole chart using show/hide methods described in Show/Hide Chart on the Page sample.
