Sample Description

How to use this sample?

Click "Load feed" button to the right of the chart to load sample news feed and add events from it to the chart. When feed is loaded you can click event markers and see link to the event description in "Event details" section.

How it works

This sample shows how you can load new events into the chart from the most popular news source for the moment RSS Feed.

RSS feed is loaded using jQuery library and JS Object with Event Markers in AnyChart Stock XML format is created and set to the chart using setEventMarkers method.

When event markers are added to the chart onEventMarkerSelect event handling is used to get information about the event from the chart and show it as the hyperlinked text on the page.

This sample uses the following methods, properties and events from AnyChartStock JavaScript API:
