Currency Exchange Rates Portal is a sample web-application that shows how AnyChart Stock Component can be used to display chart of currency pairs quotes.

Illustration and description below helps to understand all features of this application:

Currency Pair:

To choose currency pair use "Base Currency" and "Counter Currency" . When you change any of them chart and "Latest Quotes" panel will show historical chart and data for this pair. Chart shows CCY1/CCY2 quotation, where CCY1 is base currency, and CCY2 is counter currency. Also, you can switch Base and Counter currencies using "Invert" button.

Viewing Changes

By default quote absolute value is shown, but you have an option to see chart in changes mode, which takes start of the shown period as the zero and show how values changes: in absolute values or percents. To see absolute changes choose "Changes" in "Display" panel, and to see changes in percents use "%Changes" . To return to absolute values chart - choose "Values" .

Chart Type

By default chart is shown as the line, but you can switch to area and back in "Chart Type" panel.

Cursor Type

You can switch the way hovered value is highlighted on the chart: it can be either Tooltip or Crosshair and can be set using "Cursor Type" panel.

Chart Export

You can save the current state of the chart as image or PDF document - use "Save Chart" for that. Drop down menu offers list of available formats and on select of any of them component start exporting.

Printing

To print the current state of the chart use "Print Chart" button - printing dialog will be shown and you'll be able to choose printer, configure options and print the chart.
